Review on Stainless Earring Cabochon Setting Cabochons by Hannah Curi

They are great! It's so easy to create personalized earrings. I have a small baseball business and wanted to add a free gift to my orders so I decided to make some of these earrings. I tried a few first, using a tiny printed image that I cut out to fit the base, then added glue and covered it with glass, but it didn't work out too well. The glue distorted the image and affected the ink. I think this was due to using a printed paper image. So I tried using the iron on vinyl with my cricket machine to cut out the little words and also perfectly cut out the circles and match them as the background (I used a glitter background). That way I didn't have to fiddle with the scissors which was fantastic. All I had to do was weed out the cutouts! Brilliant. The material was ideal as it was strong and unaffected by the adhesive. I used old school glue to attach the glitter wallpaper to the base and did the same to the image on top. Another little tip: do not apply any glue to the base/image before you have covered it with glass and sealed it! This can mess up the placement of the image! I applied a small amount of glue to the back of the GLASS and gently placed it over the image, pressing it down until no bubbles were visible, but not TOO firmly as it might cause some glue to bleed around the edges and tear it is a mess to remove. I used CLEAR E6000 quick drying craft glue and it worked great and stuck really well. Although this product's listing says it comes with 30 pieces (15 sets of earrings), I received 32 (2 more sets) and it was great. I assume they've been added in case you mess up a few. I also liked that it came with TWO types of earring backings - clear rubber and standard metal. 34 of each type (in case you lose a few?). They were worth every penny! It's very fun and a great way to spend your free time. Highly recommended!
