After reading each comment I was curious as to why the comments varied so much. Then, when my husband went to install it, I looked through all the reviews and realized that the bottom of the crib is different for everyone! A lot were wires, those cribs that people said to be installed "underneath." My husband thought I was crazy when I told him to install it below. Our cradle is a thick wooden slatted floor. The clips will never fit over it so it won't work at all on our crib. As in the photos, you can see that we added a long piece of wood and screwed the metal posts into the wood. On the other end we used velcro. It's perfect and the rail never moves!
