This is one of those products that is so simple and easy you won't understand why you never thought of it yourself! I love it! I clipped mine to my bathroom mirror so I could watch the show on my phone while I got ready. The rear suction cups are large and really stick until the mirror mount fits. The front suction cups are smaller and really hold the phone tight. I will say my phone has been dropped a couple of times and started peeling off a couple of times. However, I don't blame the mount, it's because the suction cups and/or my phone were dirty and couldn't get enough suction. As soon as I quickly wipe the back of the phone and the suction cups, the difference is noticeable. You definitely have to pull hard if you want to pick the phone up, but the mount sticks to the mirror and you can find the phone is very secure. I have an iPhone 6s, my husband has also used it with his 6+ and it holds up just as well. Haven't tried it with anything big, but I'd say it's made for phones, not tablets.
