Review on 🎧 Wireless Bluetooth Headset with Microphone for Truck Drivers & Office Use - BT 5.0 Over The Head Headset with Additional Boom Mic for Calls, Trucker Communication, Call Centers, Skype, VoIP by Will Rahman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good performance but a bit cumbersome

After some disappointing experiences with cellphone headsets I decided to buy four different models for head-to-head (and ear-to-ear) comparison. They were all Bluetooth wireless and rated primarily for use with my iPhone SE while driving down the freeway and talking to my wife. I've also tried listening to music from iTunes and a few AM radio stations using the Simple Radio app. I didn't rate durability, battery life, or battery life - these were all fairly straightforward tests that came right out of the box. Here's what I found... The Logitech H800 is the most expensive but underperforming phone. The woman said she could hear all the background noise coming from the car and my voice was slurred. Her voice also sounded unclear to me. It was the most comfortable and stylish headset and worked great with iTunes and radio. I did not evaluate the PC option. [2 Stars] The Willful M20 is a winner. My wife said the mic was quite sensitive and she could hear me clearly with minimal noise. She could also hear her grandchildren in the background (they were in the back seat), but she couldn't hear the noise of the street or the sound of the air conditioner blown straight into the microphone. Her voice was clear to me with minimal fuzz. It was reasonably priced and comfortable enough, with simple controls and an indicator light. It worked great with iTunes and Radio. [5 stars] YAMAY wireless headphones (BH-M32) are second best. The phone's performance was reasonably sharp in both directions, with a little more blur than the M20. The headphones proved to be very comfortable and effectively blocked out background noise. It worked well with iTunes and Radio. The multifunction button worked well, but the LED was also in the button, so when you press it to control the headset, your finger covers the button and LED so you can't see them (I found this a little frustrating at times) . This device has a wired connection so you can use it without bluetooth if you want (I didn't rate it). [4 Stars] The Bluetooth Truck Driver Headset (BH-M16) is the same as the BH-M32 above, except it's a one-ear design (one headphone, not two). The device is held in place by a pad that is placed on the other side of the head, next to the other ear. I didn't like the feel and preferred the dual-ear design, but I'm sure it would be handy to have an open ear if you're talking to someone else in the car. It has no cable connection. [3 stars]
