I think this is the best camping investment we've ever made! I really like it! My husband and I go camping often, so a portable fridge is a must. My daughter loves his ice cream so we keep a baffle in place so he can drink beer while camping which we could never do with a regular cooler. When camping we connected it to our portable power station so it wouldn't drain our car battery. Your car battery is another energy option to keep your fridge running. You simply use the cigarette lighter adapter to turn it on. As for customer service; I've seen other comments about not having customer service. I'm guessing they must not have found the contact information. The correct contact details of the seller are given in the user manual. Before that we set the temperature to 18 degrees. I plugged the device into an outlet (it has a home power adapter), placed the fridge thermometer in the freezer and waited a few hours. The temperature in the device did not correspond to the programmed temperature. Tried different temperatures. Nothing I tried worked so I emailed CHANGE MOORE. I was surprised and happy to get an answer within a few hours (it was a weekend). CHANGE MOORE gave me clear instructions on how to set the fridge/freezer to my desired temperature. I followed her instructions and within an hour I had the thermostat up to the temperature I had programmed.
