This mop system arrived today. And let me tell you what. That's great. It is easy to assemble, light weight, convenient, cleans the cleaning pad well and makes everything very easy. So, I have laminate, cork floors like laminate in my house and tile in the bathrooms. There is a lot of dirt, grime and pet hair on our floors. our yard is flooded so we keep bringing dirt, the dog brings dirt, slobber and hair and anything else you can think of. I always have trouble keeping floors clean and to be honest I'm a busy person and a regular mop or reusable mop or even a regular disposable mop takes forever to clean floors. Even if I can machine wash the mops, it's still inconvenient. The water from the mop gets very dirty and the head or pad of the mop gets dirty so even if I change the water the mop is still dragging dirt everywhere. Then came this practical fashion piece. I was looking for some kind of mop bucket when I found this. I love it! A bucket, even full, is still light. The cleaning part does a great job of washing the mop, and the drying part works great, especially with cork floors where water really can't be. I can dry the carpet to the point of hand wiping. The pad does not wrinkle or snag when installed in one of the slots. It's pretty noticeable now, but in case you miss it, the mopping pad only really fits in the slot one way. There is a groove at the base of the rod that allows the squeegee piece to fold flush with the rod. But that's only on one side. It won't fit if you rotate it south to north instead of north to south. I turn it over to wash the other end, but that definitely won't work if you try to dry it. It's not really a big deal, and it's easy to bypass or adjust. So don't let the grouping stop you from getting it. It really shouldn't falter unless you're forcing a south-north position in a dry slot. I hope that makes sense. I was able to clean a dried laminate and cork floor with the same mop head without machine washing the pad. Although I changed the water for the mop. If I want to mop a really dirty part of our house and then another part of our house, I usually have to wait until I've mopped the car. Which is then never done. This was the first time I lived in my house in 5 years when I could clean all the floors in my house in one job. The only thing to watch out for. This is a mop neck, it is very strong and can be a bit stiff. I have no problem with that. But I could see the Incredible Hulk breaking his neck when he applied full ogre pressure, twisted and leaned, or didn't remember how to move. So I probably won't let my husband use it. I'm sure 99% of people won't have a problem with that. I would buy it again if something happens to it.
