I patch and paint all the walls myself. I just finished my second full house renovation. Where has that band knife been my whole adult life?! This thing is perfect. Super flexible! Ergonomic and comfortable to hold. I used this knife to patch holes in the walls of one of my closets. With this knife I was able to get between the wire shelves and the wall and apply a smooth, even coat of putty. So smooth that only minimal sanding was required afterwards. This knife made spatula quick and easy. I spent a lot less time trying to get a flat/smooth application. Just a few touches to perfection. The knife itself is heavy, but still light enough not to tire my hand. The handle is hollow and the blade is very flexible. And makes a sound similar to the sound of a sword when used. Pretty cool bonus feature in my opinion. I washed and dried the knife immediately afterwards and it still looks like new. I would highly recommend this band knife to any handyman. I'll pick up a few more while I'm here. I never want to be without.
