I bought a large for my 17" spaniel but the L collar only adjusts to about 19-23". This is more for a lab-sized dog. It's also 1 3/4" wide, not 2". Another issue is that the black part is made of smelly neoprene like a wetsuit. As a diver, I know that wetsuits hold water. So when you go into the water, they stay wet on your dog's neck for a long time. It feels durable and the neoprene is a good cushion. Metal leash ring. The clasp is made of durable plastic. Pink color corresponds to the advertising picture. This may work for some dogs, so it's worth a try. Although I had to send mine back.
