I'm a big fan when it comes to car detailing. Last year I bought a 2016 burgundy 4Runner that was on loan. The paint looked badly worn for a 2 year old car that had just been washed. I didn't wax it until last weekend. After some research I decided on this product. I also live on a dirt road. My truck drives many kilometers on the Autobahn. I wanted a wax that would keep road dirt and dust off my truck. This is the best wax I've ever used. I'm sure there is an advantage to this wax that contains both polymer and carnauba. People who know a lot more about granularity could tell you more about the differences. I read during my research that the polymer in the wax extends the life of the coating. Don't be put off by the fact that it's not a soft solid or liquid. It's hard, it's hard like shoe polish. It works great and is easy to use. I applied and buffed once around the truck. Then I applied another thin layer and went over the truck again with the pneumatic buffer. It's amazing how the second layer has changed. Can't comment on the durability of the wax but it seems like a great product. Also made in the USA. The glass it comes in looks vintage and stunning at the same time. A few "pro" tips: use a microfiber sponge to apply and don't use too much. I made a small circular motion with a little pressure. Do one body panel at a time. Apply, let dry, then polish. Don't let it dry out too much. It's hard to get off. It is easier to dry for 1 minute and then polish. Buy an orbital buffer. This will improve the shine of your car. They're pretty cheap and effective. If they get on the black plastic trim, wipe them off immediately. Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth. Everything will flow out, just don't let it dry.
