Great shoes - read reviews first

I really liked this pair. I've had my eye on this particular shoe for a while as I liked the old school/retro style with the modern Boost midsole. This version is made from significantly higher quality materials than the later Iniki model (which I also ordered but then sent back due to poor quality). The underfoot feel is almost the same as the NMD in the sense that it's flat with minimal arch support and a fairly steep heel-to-toe drop. However, the reinforcement is hardly soft and comfortable in the healing area and midfoot. noticeable (if at all) in the forefoot. The upper is very loose and there isn't really a "lock-in" of the foot, so you experience a kind of "slip and slide" feeling. It's also important to note that the shoe fits almost one size larger (i.e. I'm a real size 11 and had to order a size 10 for the shoe to fit). Still, I get a lot of compliments from people for the shoes and they're a great alternative to wearing Jack Purcell Converses or other "retro" casual sneakers all the time. As long as you know what you need and have clear expectations for the shoe, I think you'll be happy with it. 3 Month Update: As cool as these shoes look, the last 3 months have been a nightmare. I kept trying these shoes because I think they look so cool but damn they are sloppy and uncomfortable to wear. The fit is borderline "terrible". The shoe has a really distinct heel-to-toe feel that makes it feel like you're almost walking down a slope. There is no structure in the upper, so chances are very high that you will twist your ankle at least once. There's no insole, just a simple sewn-on piece of fabric that's just there to cover the Boost. As usual, the Boost quickly discolored and started turning yellow. Mind you, I take very good care of my shoes, so the fact that this is happening so quickly is a shame. I have severe pain in my calves, lower back and ankles after wearing them more than a mile a day. In short, ignore the aesthetics of the shoe and evaluate how it will perform. in the long run, which is objectively very bad.

Pros
  • understandable even for old people
Cons
  • some little things
