I bought and installed a total of 5 of these 240GB drives. They were installed in regular office computers in small offices. Within 6 months all five are in various stages of failure. 2 of them have failed completely, data recovery is not possible. The other three are in various stages of failure and terrible performance. I'm copying them all to new Samsung SSDs as I write this. It will take many hours as it is full of bugs and the performance is terrible at the moment. I've used Silicon Power products in the past on inexpensive laptops and a few other things. I won't use them again for anything remotely critical. It's just not worth it when I can buy Critical or Samsung or a well-known brand for not much more money. The RMA process is also terrible as their website doesn't even accept the part number printed on the discs. Instead I had to email them and wait for them to send me a spreadsheet to fill out and fax. To be honest I would rather get my money back at this point.
