Disappointed that the very cute penguin cold packs have an unpleasant toxic chemical smell. This product didn't seem to make me nauseous, but the neoprene lunch bag that came in the same box made me nauseous. The smell of a very nice lunch bag was so strong we had to take it outside. Even my husband found the smell disgusting. I have been poisoned by insecticides twice in my life and decades ago I had tingling and numbness in my lips, tongue and hands. That lunch bag left me with tingling sensations on the left side of my lips and the left side of my tongue, and my left arm was numb. After 24 hours the tingling goes away, but of course it's scary while it lasts. The Mayo Clinic online describes the symptoms of poisoning, and that's about it. These products were made in China. Are they trying to kill us? Or do they just use chemicals that the US does NOT allow? Sad. I'm glad Revane allowed me to return my lunch bag for a full refund and refunds on cold packs. Today I had to go shopping and find a lunch bag and a cooler where I could UNDERSTAND them BEFORE I bought them. I should have them soon because I take my husband to the hospital for outpatient surgeries and have to wait many hours. I need something to eat and drink while waiting for hours.
