Fun when you know what you're doing!

The ROBOTIME 3D Seymour music box is a real treat. I put together another one already called the Orpheus Sad Musical Machine. I enjoyed collecting it so much that I decided to order this one! "Seymour" comes with pre-made parts, a music box, 3 screws to attach the music device to the wooden part, a metal washer (?) to help the small fan. Slingshot, 1 tweezers, 1 screwdriver, 1 tube of glue, 120mm aluminum wire, 3 split rings and 2 bells. I didn't have any problems building it, but I can see that a child, say 7 years old, has problems. So it's definitely made for those who know what they're doing and have no problem reading instructions. Although yes, the details are laser cut. That doesn't mean they automatically match. You should use the small sandpaper that comes with the kit to sand down some of the parts until they fit. I say that's probably the only scam I can think of. This little guy needed WAY more loops than Orpheus. I almost used up the little sandpaper. Some people may have problems with small dog ears. They don't stick, a little movement and they fall out. I tried using the glue that comes with the kit. Didn't work so well when it came to the ears though. So I just used a hot glue gun and now they stay in place. Oh yes, some parts have outlines that some parts should follow. There are also small details on the wooden parts to make them look "mechanical". I just wish they had a little more detail. I added some details with the wood burning tool.
