I bought this to upgrade an old regular lamp with 3D MAG elements. This lamp did not fit the MAG screw on the retaining ring and the lamp head was too big. I had to file and grind the ring to fit the bulb. And when I finally plugged it in, some of the LEDs on this bulb were putting out TERRIBLE light. It's not a bright circle and all the individual LEDs are casting their own bright spots and it has some pretty bad dark spots. In short, it was a waste of money for a flashlight. This can be normal for ambient light illumination. I would NOT recommend using this bulb in a MAG light to replace an incandescent bulb in the first place.
