My old cork coasters were finally falling apart so I was looking for a new set of coasters. Saw it on sale and bought it. These things really do what they say. The first thing I did when I opened it was fill it with water. Within 20 seconds all the water was absorbed into the stand. I added a little more water and that water went away too. I know there's water out there somewhere, but in 20 seconds you can't even tell there was ever water there. I've seen reviews of these coasters that say water just rolls off them. Although these coasters may look similar to these coasters, they are not the same. These things are the real deal. They look good, have a cork bottom to protect your tables from scratches, and they really do absorb water!
