I need a scale that is accurate to the ounce. I am shipping my yarn and this scale was a waste of time and money. I tried it with an outlet and then with batteries. When I first used the scale, I printed out a shipping label based on what the scale said. The post office sent it back to me as it was 7 ounces too light. I called the support hotline to find out how to reset the scale. I was told to turn off the scale, remove the batteries (I didn't use them with batteries), wait twenty minutes and then put the batteries back in and weigh my item. I then asked the post office to weigh the other item I wanted. send a letter. It weighed 8.7 ounces. After following the steps above with new batteries, the scale told me the item weighed 7 ounces. They also told me there was 5 ounces on the scale when there was nothing on the scale. Of course, I can't rely on these scales.
