They are so easy to install. The clips fit directly onto the slats and you can bend them slightly to match the curve of the slats. I used pliers to compress the tabs to ensure they were securely attached to the slats. Then they immediately took their places. They add a bit of weight to the bar and one of them fell off opening the blinds but snapped right back in place. As you probably know (since you are reading this) these baggars are very fragile and break easily. The apartment complex where my friend lived charged $20 to replace the bar and it could get very expensive very quickly. We were so happy when we found these little gems and we will always have the box handy.
