After modification it works perfectly. The connector is too tight for the USB 3.0 port on the motherboard.
Initially I couldn't install it in the 3.5 inch floppy drive bay so that the front was flush with the front of my computer case. holes. After connecting it works perfectly. However, I am deducting two stars due to connectivity issues with the USB 3.0 header on my ASUS motherboard. It was difficult to insert, it felt too tight. The connector came out but ripped the plastic USB 3.0 male/female connector off the motherboard. Had to be glued again.
