I bought a hammer to drive and trim small nails into furniture where I was concerned that a larger hammer might also ruin the finish. This hammer has both a flat and convex surface and was ideal for driving small nails flush with the surface without damaging the surrounding wood. I was then able to sink the heads with a small punch. I have many different hammers, each with a different purpose, but I was missing a little hammer for those specific situations. This hammer was good value for the right use case.
