I figured the only thing I could do was throw away my rather old little combo printer. We didn't really use it for printing anymore because we didn't use an (old) desktop computer nearby. However, I had to send a fax regularly and when I did that the printer wouldn't send the fax because it needed more ink! (Every time! Bad idea bro.) Although we didn't use the printer to print, the fact that a new cartridge was fed only satisfied it for a while and it dried up and registered blank. It occurred to me that I might try to find a cheaper alternative to Brothers Addiction because I didn't really want to invest in another car and learn how to use it. So I tried Kogain's suggestion, a very reasonable price for all that ink. I tried it and I liked it. I was afraid that the quality wouldn't be there and that there would be a messy result. But no, it's great. I recommend it.
