Review on ๐Ÿ’ฆ Brondell GS-70GRN GoSpa Mint: The Ultimate Travel Bidet for Portable Hygiene by Mike Gruwell

Revainrating 3 out of 5

TMI.! rzunimag. for plumbing and sanitary fittings

I bought Bio Bidet with Brondell GoSpa and I like Brondell better but I would like improvements on both. The Bio-Bidet offers approximately 3 inches more reach and has a 50-60ยฐ pre-release angle compared to Brondell's 90ยฐ right angle. The exit head of the bio bidet also protrudes about 1.5 inches from the extension tube, making it a bit easier to navigate. more difficult, while the brondell drain is integrated into the extension tube and intuitively easy to use. My guess is that the bio bidet may have been designed to work better from the front than from the back and is therefore better suited to women - gaps, obstacles, etc. A bidet with a tilted head and longer reach is bulkier and harder to aim. the back. THE GREATEST DAMAGE IN COMPARISON, however, is the amount of water that escapes with each squeeze of the reservoir. The bidet seems to have about twice the water flow rate with each press and therefore uses up its water supply very quickly and with just a few movements - no second chance for any missed shots! With the amount of water, it also tends to oversplash. The spray is more diffuse (softer) than the brondell spray, although neither is uncomfortable and I prefer the brondell spray. The advantage of the Bio-Bidet is that the extension tube is inserted directly into the tank (and then directly into the carry case), much like a nozzle on a plastic gas cylinder is pulled in or out. The Brondell requires you to split it in two to fit in your tote bag. It's frustrating that Brondell doesn't include an optional waterproof "cap" as their design automatically requires that the extension tube be removed for storage. Overall I would give Brondell 3/4 stars more (say 3.75 stars) but not a full star - (if they include a waterproof case I would strongly consider 5 stars) but still I would be close to my goals buy/buy back a Brondell GoSpa. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM BOTH ARE COMMON is that neither can be "pre-filled" and then carried around - neither is remotely remotely waterproof when in a carry case and for that reason alone is a more expensive battery-powered Toto Travel Washlet (or other brand) might be of more interest. This product works, but its ideal installation would be in the bathroom of a home or hotel.
