Does the remote control work? It does. Other reviews mention that the buttons are ridiculously difficult to press to keep the TV responsive. You're right. If you are very slow and intentional, this is normal. If you want to press buttons very quickly, this won't work. It was cheap and worked as long as you could handle the slowness and firmness with which you had to press each button. In hindsight, I should have paid an extra $10 for a genuine Sony remote instead of a fake one, but it worked with my TV right away.
