I have 9 of these in my ferret cage. The beds were almost 2 years old but have withstood scratches, bites, we have a particularly curious ferret, Momo, who loves to cause trouble. We decided to replace the beds because they deserved something new and the old ones couldn't do with another wash. Again they lasted 2 years. We spent over $100 on these beds getting them from different places as there is a limit of 2. The new beds lasted half a day and they were completely destroyed and posed a choking/shock hazard. I say completely torn and stuffed. It seems that the material has changed and it has become cheaper and more flimsy. You get a tiny tear in it and everything dissolves. I have emailed Katie and am waiting for a reply. My ferrets tend to poop in any corner where there isn't a bed, so it's just a mess. So if they can't provide beds that don't pose complete danger and you have ferrets, stay away. Unless you somehow manage to travel back in time to 2018, where the materials were high quality and the bed didn't come loose from a single rope. UPDATE: I received a refund for all beds and was told to remove them all due to the condition of the bed. They stated the materials hadn't changed, but I was able to provide photos of my year and a half old bed versus the day old ruined beds that showed a clear difference. Until this quality issue is resolved, stay away if you have ferrets.
