Yes, as others have said, very small. To give you an idea my daughter is 7.5 years old but due to her petite build she still fits a dress size 6/6X. I wanted the sweater to have room to grow so it would fit her for a while so I would normally order a size 8 but based on the reviews I ordered a size 10! and that's exactly what I wanted! Now she can wear it and it has room to grow, it's a bit big in the shoulder area but still looks good because it's very very stretchy so it almost fits her body and looks a bit loose but as she grows she will fit better and better, and then stretch and adjust them for quite a while. Size aside it's great, soft, seems durable, beautiful and well made, it actually looks more expensive than it really is, the price is great, it's very warm and last but not least very cute! (I have the white with a bear, adorable!), the white is not super white, it's somewhere between white and ivory, actually I like it better. So I give 5 for the size question because you just have to be aware of it and thanks to the feedback I was :-).
