Great value for casual use compared to the brand at times

I researched and tried the Sonetics brand which is significantly better but costs 10x more. Yes, the Sonetics set of 3 costs about $6,000. Then I found this one. I was disappointed that they don't work with a helmet, but they can (maybe) be modified. But for the price they are great. Because I have asthma, I can't scream because of the noise from pumps and compressors/manufacturing equipment. So teaching people or meeting an engineer or contractor in a factory or pump room is priceless. I bought hygienic disposable microphones and ear cups and disinfectant wipes to make sure everyone's devices were clean. They reach about 200 meters from the site, about 150 if I don't see another person. I have rave reviews for various trips I've taken for work and have used it 4 times for projects at home. They're great for felling trees because your spotter can tell you what's going on, or when you're cutting branches and there's a chainsaw man sitting in a tree and the spotter tells you what needs to be cut down. They're also great if you're working in the attic and there's someone downstairs who needs to start and stop the machines. When you're working on a large machine and you're on the other side and can't see your work partner, it's ideal to make sure nothing unsafe is happening, such as: B. Restart after preventive maintenance or reconfiguration. You can also use them when you are in a tree and have multiple people in multiple locations and need to talk to each other. You can speak softly and still be heard. Bird watching, shooting, hunting in groups, etc. There is an occasional slight buzz in the main headset, but it's easy to ignore. Batteries are very cheap, so be sure to remove them from your headset when not in use. Follow the instructions that come with the T and you'll be fine. The batteries lose charge in the bag and the charger failed after about a month, so I bought a larger charger and additional batteries. The headsets are very light, so not as durable as the Sonetics brand, but at 10 cents on the dollar you can't beat them. Also, I bought three packs and you can just add a fourth headset if you want. Adding new headsets to an existing set is no easy task, but there are instructions on the website. If you buy a Sonata brand and spend $10,000, you could bet five or more. But for my purposes and occasional user goals, you can't beat the value. I would give them four stars except I've tried far superior brands so I'm deducting one star for the sound quality and cheap batteries. At the time of this review I have had it for 5 months and have used it 9 times.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • No paint needed
