I bought this product to use as a guinea pig playpen. That. Uh, easy to assemble, just snap the pieces into the included black blocks. Although a hammer was included, we didn't need it. The pen we built is perfect for our two piglets. Now that we've added two more piglets we'll expand the coop and maybe buy another set of panels to build the second floor. I don't know if these slabs will be big enough for rabbits. I would guess they could climb them. If you are using an animal pen, remember to use the smooth side of the panel on the inside so the animals cannot chew on the folded and glued/punched edge. Overall I am very satisfied with this product for creating an enclosure for small animals. I don't know if it's strong enough to make storage cubes. Also I didn't use panels to cover the bottom of the handle as shown in the picture.
