I usually buy one of these humidifiers, encounter cleaning and filling difficulties, hope it lasts 1-2 seasons before it becomes too cool because it is very difficult to clean, then I repeat. Every humidifier I've ever bought has had major design flaws, but this one really seems to outperform just about anything I could ask for in a humidifier. Pros: The tank is very easy to clean because it's completely open, not just a tiny opening you can stick your hand through and try to reach all the corners. The top opens instantly so filling is very easy without having to remove the tank. For all of us who clean our water every time we fill up the tank, that's amazing! The base can be separated from the block, not just from the wall! This is a feature that most people probably never think of, but it's very important when cleaning up a base. For example, if you have a cord that runs behind a dresser, it can be very difficult to unplug the appliance every time you need to wash it. No annoying bright LED on/off indicator. If you read reviews of many other humidifiers, you will see how many people complain about this problem. Yes, a simple piece of duct tape can hide those other lights, but the point is they thought of this when designing. It has a very good LED night light function with three different color options, amber, blue, green or off. Great function with beautiful ring of fine light. - It is very compact (0.6 gallons) without sacrificing performance. It's perfect for a small bedroom and we only really use it when the humidity is around 1/4. At this level, a bandage lasts up to 2 nights and provides sufficient moisture. It has a clean, simple and attractive design. high. I liked putting our old one on the edge of the dresser and tipping it to the side of the room so the countertop didn't get too wet. So far we haven't had any issues with moisture build-up on the top of our dresser, but just something to be aware of, especially if you use it at higher levels.
