The product was purchased to be used with a household drain pump. Installation was pretty easy. The block worked normally for about two months, after which it failed. He did not turn off the pump and caused overheating. It was an old pump so I bought a new one. The same about a month later. The pump has been running for several hours with no water in the sump. Almost cost me a second pump. I have contacted the seller and they will not send me a replacement or refund. Basically said "sorry about that". That says a lot about the quality and the deal you are dealing with when making this purchase. I do not recommend this controller to anyone. It's a cheap controller! That is why it is much cheaper than a quality device. Don't rely on it to protect your basement from flooding. This controller is said to be 16A, the pump I used was 4A. Honestly even if they sent me a replacement I wouldn't use it because of the quality and no rest. Save your money and buy something reliable and simple Float switch would be much more reliable and that's sad!
