I'm disappointed in the quality for such a high price. They are just fine. Some of them are rough and I'm afraid they might break. They appear to be just raw wood with no oil or anything that makes them smooth or shiny. The corners are not rounded very well and some are quite sharp. I love how light they are, but that also means they may not be as strong as they seem and they dent easily. One of them had a pencil mark on it so I assume they were returned. I would come back if I could find a better alternative at a reasonable price. However, my son thinks they are great.
