1. This is a pair. Great to get TWO for a good price! 2. They are handmade ONLY! That might be nice, but to be versatile they really need a detachable base like most other small battery powered fans. This model is Miady MI-PF04. They charge faster with a 2 amp USB input, but like most, can use a 1 amp USB input. And they have 5,000 mAh batteries, which means they last longer than most of the competition. In fact, Miady makes a similar fan, also available in two packs (black and white) of the MI-PF05 model, which sells for about the same price (2 packs), but: PF05 has a detachable base! b. PF05 has a smaller 2000mAh battery, doesn't last as long, but almost the same speed and fan power (18fps for each model)c. The PF05 input only draws 1 amp, it doesn't charge as quickly even when 2 amps are applied - it only draws 1 amp5. BIGGEST COMPLAINT FOR THESE TWO (MI-PF04): They use a very ODD "USB-C" connector/cable/connector system! They DO NOT ACCEPT the standard micro USB that ALL OTHER small portable fans use! You MUST use the cables that came with these fans to charge them! Don't lose them! Don't confuse them with standard micro USB cables - they look pretty much the same. But that's not the case! 6. The mini USB-C connector is slightly wider than the standard micro USB connector and won't fit in anything else! WHY did they switch to USB-C? I can only think because it is better suited for 2 amp and current input adapter? Why else?7. I rode my two at high speed all day to see how long they would last on the load they came with. The white fan ran for seven hours before it stopped! Black worked 5 hours and then quit. They say 2 amps charge 4-6 hours. I timed both - 4 hours each for a full charge (solid green light - it flashes while charging). It shows a tiny red light when running on its own power supply and flashes green when running on external power.8. I WANT them to have a base to put on my desk or desk! I'm tired of holding her all the time! Don't lose the charging cable! It's unlike any other you can have!
