Great price. I had to splice/conduct. Not a tight fit. Works as advertised. On my 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax, the truck side had three wires from the harness and two from the fan: black harness = ground, red harness = always hot, purple (small caliber) harness = controller, black fan = ground, purple fan ( large caliber) = fan power. The replacement controller has five wires and I connected them as follows: Red = vehicle engine always hot, Black = truck engine ground, Blue (small display) = truck engine control, Yellow = truck fan ground, Blue (large display) = electric truck Fan. The foam padding on the new unit didn't fit well in the standard hole so I used some aluminum tape and the problem was solved. Just plugged in and it works. . Before that, the normal control was faulty and the fan worked constantly, even with the ignition off. I had to pull the fuse to turn off the fan and save battery. Let's see how long this new replacement lasts!
