I think some of the complaints here are trivial. Mistakes happen, products aren't always perfect, but with Amazon, a simple call and exchange is pretty easy. The comforter is obviously not ideal for all machine washes, so don't overdo it with the washing machine and dry on smaller people. Is it pure synthetic. Go on. This blanket is SUPER! I had a Sherpa from another company. A little better and thicker. My body gets warm, so I wear a fan while I sleep, even in winter. My older Sherpa was so thick that the cold side would have been too hot. This one is light and perfect. I usually drop my body at night due to uneven heating and cooling. This duvet is PERFECT. I don't use the warm side. Just the cool side. When I wake up in the morning I don't even know I have a blanket on and my comfort and temperature are perfect! I bought a king size so I can wrap up like a taco and never have to fight for a little extra blanket. I sleep like a baby on a cloud on top of another cloud. Finally, the cool side is great for pets. As soon as I put this on my bed my 2 dogs were everywhere. So if you have pets, rest assured they own the blanket, so you can buy 2! giggle
