Works well, easy to use

Delivery - Everything arrived on time and in good condition. The carrier exceeded delivery expectations. I've included a quick snapshot of some of the different packaging materials. If they are all sent like this then the only reason they are delivered damaged is the shipping company. Gear. Not the best stuff in the world but certainly well made for the cost of this setup. The valves were shipped a bit loose but tightened quickly and easily. I tested the thermometer with two of my home digital thermometers and it showed good results. Nothing is missing. Usage - DISCLAIMER - I have previous experience with the camera and know what I'm doing so I had no problems with this setting. That being said, if you're a beginner, don't think you can buy this and *phew* you moonshine. The instructions are simple but more than enough to get the rig set up. As you can see from the photos, I modified mine as anyone can, so my capacitor tank turned the other way. I cleaned the device and did a test run with water. I did not use the vent and instead fitted another thermometer as a backup using the plug (rubber stopper) provided. The installation worked well, there were no leaks. I ran my condensing unit with an 80 GPH submersible pump through a cheap styrofoam cooler that I refreshed with frozen bottled water. My actual experience consisted of a 5 gallon sugar mash treated with 24 Turbo Yeast, allowed to sit for 12 hours, and then made with a Turbo Refiner to beat out all of the yeast residue. In short, it was a quick brew. Using a standard gas stove, I found that I boiled about 5 gallons of liquid in under an hour. I found a good starting temperature for cooking mash and alcohol. Overall I got a solid 9 quarts ranging from just over 60% to just under 30%. I could go on, but it wasn't profitable at the time. The valves, once tightened, made it easy to change the cooling flow with a pump to control the rate of condensation. The valves also showed no leaks, which surprised me. My only complaint is that the condensation tank can certainly have a lid used so it can be pumped easily, but with the condenser coil gasket I can understand the technical issues. This is a good little setup for home use. Any beginner can start drinking alcohol in just a few days with a little patience and a lot of YouTube watching. The rig was also easy to clean. Dishwasher safe for most items and easy to sanitize. I also took thermal images with a thermal imaging camera (photos will be posted later) to check for steam leaks. NOBODY. This type had strong welds, gaskets and hardware. With this rig you will get your money's worth. I pulled a lot of data when doing my first few runs with this setup and it was consistent across every test. My only regret is that I didn't go ahead and purchase the largest rig in the series.
