I work with children and use them in some classes to break up the monotony. We use them like a telescope; Connect the ends to make a halo, necklace, bracelet, etc.; or speak into them as our voices travel down the tube. Kids love the audible feedback as each segment opens/closes. I've never shown a kid or parent that you can swing them overhead in circles to make a whistling sound (for obvious reasons). I've had several parents order a box of these after I left as their kids loved them so much. They are also a good price. As a little bonus, I'll even toss a few in kid's gift bags! Packaging requirements for ages 5+, use under supervision, discard when used, not chewable, etc.
