So yes, this does have a sort of Indiana Jones vibe going on. I kind of wanted that in a purse. It's very large, the zipper works great, the shoulder strap seems to be attached VERY well. The stitching there in an X inside a box. Most of my purses have had to be retired when the shoulder strap broke. It does not look like I will have that issue with this one.My only concern is that the snaps on the 4 outer pockets tend to come unsnapped. I'm not sure if I'm brushing up against things, and the straps on the outer pockets are getting pulled, or what. But I have to re-snap those snaps at least twice a day. I'm only keeping items that I wouldn't be devastated if I lost in them, tissues, hand sanitizer, etc.EDIT: after more than a year, this bag is still going strong. No sign of wear and tear, or any kind of fraying or give, even in the attachment of the shoulder straps.
