I got these as a gift for a friend who works as a mechanic and he said the quality was amazing! It glides well, doesn't smell and doesn't damage the tire. Many people sleep with tire mounting paste, so this is what you really need when mounting tires! It even comes with a free brush, so it's like a grocery store! You no longer have to spend money on a brush when it is included. This paste has no particular disadvantages, except that like any other paste, it can dry out over time. I'm not sure how long this will take, but I'd say within a year I'd check again.
