I've had this Franke for almost 20 years. (Originally it was an 01 filter as far as I can remember.) I've switched to a metal case and I change it out every year. It also powers my ice maker in the fridge. They work perfectly, fine filter (0.02 micron), water is tasteless and odorless. They restrict the flow so if you're in a hurry you might not like it. i'm just waiting Flow is less than 0.5 gpm at 25 pounds of water pressure. Upgrades you should make: Metal body. All plastics will eventually fail. Steel braided hoses and 1/4 turn metal valves. You will be trouble free for many years. Enjoy
