Apart from being a bit small for a size XXL I really like this jacket. I didn't know it had thumbhole panels on the sleeves to cover the wrists. This is GREAT in cold New York weather as there is no gap between the sleeve of the jacket and the cuffs of the gloves. It also helps prevent cold air from entering the sleeve. There is a hidden sweatshirt in the collar! I would have liked a heavier fabric for a hoodie but I like that it can be tucked behind the collar. The way the zipper has been sewn into the collar where the hoodie goes makes it look more like a simple trim around the collar. The presence of a hidden hood is not noticeable due to the large open zipper. The fabric of this jacket is quite unique. It's soft, slippery and heavier than it looks. When I first took the jacket out of the box I was shocked that it weighed so much. You'd think the fabric would be (at least) twice as thick due to the heaviness, but that's not the case. This makes the jacket even more attractive. Protects a thicker jacket from wind and cold, but with freedom of movement and less bulk from thinner fabric. The jacket is well made and stylish enough to be worn with business casual work attire. The sleeves are a little tight, so it can be difficult to wear over something like a jacket or heavy sweater. Overall, the jacket is more fitted and not as boxy as many models on the market. Although snug, it's more of a good fit than a bad fit. The fabric is stretchy, allowing for excellent range of motion without becoming bulky, tight or riding up, or exposing your lower back and stomach to cold air. Adding to this already great jacket, the pockets have zips so nothing can fall out and two inside pockets to store your phone and/or wallet. The inside pockets close with nothing, but are quite deep. The only thing that could improve this jacket is to offer it in more colors. A moonless night isn't bad, but it would be nice to have other colors like red, gray, green, white, etc. Orange is pretty bright and blue isn't bad, but it would be nice to be able to choose a lighter or darker blue. While this may be for outdoor activities like running or hiking, I see many buyers using it as a casual jacket so being able to opt for more neutral colors would be a useful option.
