Don't listen to complaints about wrinkles or creases on delivery. As you can see from my photos the sling came in a long box and arrived in perfect condition. Very well made sling. Not all Latigo lines are created equal and the handling of this line exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with the purchase. The skin is thick and elastic, traction is excellent. The hardware is great and simple. I expect to have this sling for a very long time. I have never had a 3 inch suspension strap and prefer it over narrower suspension straps. I'm not a beginner, I don't have many lines and I really love this parker from day one. I usually prefer linen, but polypropylene tape is very slick and thick and heats up the blade quickly. Out of the box I tested it, stringing a pair of kitchen knives and a D2 pocket knife on a webbing strap, and they all went from sharp to razor sharp in 10 pulls. I will be using this one exclusively for straight razors but will probably get another for kitchen knives and pocket knives. If you are a beginner you may want to choose a cheaper sling (perhaps one of the Illinois slings) to learn from as you will cut your skin in the process. Once you learn how to trim this parker properly, it's worth every penny.
