Works very well. I used it with regular realistic water and then applied blue paint over it. Gave me a nice deep dark blue look to the water. *** Edit after first viewing *** But it is HIGHLY compressed! Very upset about this after my first glowing review. Within a month of use it had shrunk nearly half an inch and was tearing off all sides of the very shallow basin into which I poured it with difficulty. That's not good for such an expensive product. Woodland Scenics should be ashamed for selling such an overpriced and shoddy product.
