I liked the idea of a steel batter dispenser and this seemed to fit the bill. After my second plastic break, both of which were better branded items and $20-$25 each, I thought the steel version would be a good upgrade, especially considering the price was the same as my previous devices. And it would be if it weren't for some outrageous problems. First, the steel around the trigger grip is sharp and can easily cut your fingers if you're not careful. Not what I want to give my children. Second, the silicone grommet doesn't seal well enough to prevent the batter from spilling out. And third, the spout has some issues where the batter doesn't pour out as freely as my previous two dispensers. This may not get the batter into the pan exactly where you intended it.
