Some people complain about the rattling noise. Well, let me tell you, the rattle is actually perfect. This is the perfect sound for every kid! It's not very loud, but that's the main thing! It won't scare your child who is learning to play and grasp, but it makes enticing sounds that please both baby and parents. I don't know about your child, but mine doesn't need a marching band to be excited or interested. I mean, do you really think Fisher Price will keep making the same toy for so long that kids don't like it? My son grabbed it right away, it was the first toy he was able to successfully hold something with and he was so excited to shake it! He chews on the soft end and bangs his rattles on things to make even more noise! For him, they never grow old either. To be honest I was skeptical because they were so easy and people have left negative reviews but I would highly recommend these rattles as your baby's first toy.
