These gloves did not convince me, especially for $ 180 (size M). God forbid you need size XL. Ripstop nylon is also a rip because it's soft and flimsy and doesn't last long in my opinion. Long life should be included for $180! Do not get me wrong. These gloves are very comfortable and warm enough for skiing and snow in moderate winter temperatures, but not enough for a week of cold climbing and ice climbing. Don't be fooled by product images. One image shows a man wearing green boots and GLOVES instead of mittens. Although I have a pair of Black Diamond Super Light gloves, I'm considering getting a cheap pair of the following gloves, which look just as good, if not better, than these Black Diamonds.
