SONY ICFCDK50 UNDER THE KITCHEN CD RADIO CLOCKS We've had this unit in our kitchen for many years. Our daughter loved it so much that she asked for it for Christmas. Ask and you will get - Kim loves this radio/CD player as much as we do. It has a good, strong signal that allows you to store 15 radio stations. You can mix/match AM and FM stations. The CD player works very well and accepts burned CDs. Even when playing a CD, the sound is very powerful and pleasant. There is a plugin for your iPhone that allows you to listen to music stored on your phone or in the Pandora app. The signal is also very strong and much louder than listening from your iPhone. Our daughter said she wished the audio input cable for her I-Phone was longer. But still, it works well for them. Other useful features include a magnetic remote control that you can keep anywhere you like. The distance factor is good here, although I found I needed to be in the same room as the radio. This certainly comes in handy when you're sitting at your desk, working and wishing you could listen to good music, and with the remote control you don't even have to get up from your comfortable seat. In the event of a power failure, once the power is restored, the radio will work immediately and the time will automatically reset to the correct time thanks to the lithium battery. In addition, the time is preset, so once the device is installed, the time will be correct or can be changed according to your specific time zone. Installation is also easy, both of our families installed ours under the kitchen cabinet. The men in our lives have handled it with little to no problem. Thanks, people. It's so satisfying to go about your business in the kitchen while you sing along on the radio, listen to your favorite CD or music stored on your phone, or maybe listen to an audio book while you prepare your next amazing meal.
