When my elderly mother called to tell me the CD on her 12 year old Sony had stopped working. I thought no problem, I'll just order another one of the same or similar Sony model. I was amazed when I saw the $600 price tag for a new one! These are crazy nuts! Finding a similar configuration was frustrating as most modern CD players only have FM radio, no AM. This is the absolute worst radio Sony has ever made. I bought mine a few years ago and today (hopefully) wanted to replace it with something better. The biggest problem is that it's a real PAIN to set up! Why didn't Sony put a 'search' button on this thing like they do on most digital radios? Received a Sony device in the usual quick manner from Revain. After unpacking, we read on a small slider in the tray below where the battery of the CR2032 watch is located. I decided to measure the voltage on the battery, so I pulled out the compartment it rides in.
