This is the absolute worst radio Sony has ever made. I bought mine a few years ago and today (hopefully) wanted to replace it with something better. The biggest problem is that it's a real PAIN to set up! Why didn't Sony put a 'search' button on this thing like they do on most digital radios? Whatever the case, you'll have to hold down the damn button to find each station, and if the power goes out, good luck because you'll have to start over. And WHY is the power button second in line? It's just stupid. Oh yes it has a backup battery but try replacing it. The little door that holds the batteries is fragile, and if it breaks it's too much for a backup battery. The recipient is the same. Depending on which direction the radio is facing and you then mount it under the cabinet, there is only one direction for the radio. And that's what your office looks like, of course. If it's the wrong direction, you'll have a hard time reaching even nearby stations. The only thing I can say about the radio is that the sound is very good.
