Review on 🔍 Optimized Search: Sony ICFCDK50 Kitchen CD Clock Radio Under Cabinet by Derrick Patterson

Bought for my wife for Christmas. She said it would encourage her to do more cooking and cleaning there. SALE! Received quickly in the mail. Perfect condition out of the box. After reading the assembly instructions and looking at the drilling template, I was concerned that it might be too big (deep) for our shallow kitchen cabinets. NO! Almost perfect fit. So after emptying the closet, I laid out the template, marked the holes, drilled the holes (twice, once with a small drill bit, the second time with a large one), and then pushed through the mounting screws. Screw, wrap the power cord around the back of the player so that it is long enough to connect. I didn't make it and it was too close to the wall to do after installation. Not wanting to take everything off just to get rid of the extra cord, I just hid it behind some appliances on the countertop. The installation instructions state that you need (2) people to install this player. I've done it myself. And when that was done I plugged it in and cranked it up and cranked it up and it sounded amazing. The CD player was ok. The AUX input worked on my cell phone. The FM band picked up way more stations than I've ever gotten in my car. But my only complaint is that it's essentially a $140 CD player. CD player technology shouldn't cost that much. But the woman is happy!
