Before I got my own car (=bought it myself), I drove a red '07 Accord that my aunt had given me. Neither of you and I knew that turbulence on cars could be avoided. She doesn't mind that too much though - she just wants the machine to work perfectly, with no mechanical issues. I, on the other hand, noticed these vortices but didn't know how to take care of them and leave them alone. 7 years later, graduated from college, found a job and bought a car. As a first-time buyer I wanted to make sure my car would be treated well, especially when I decided to buy a slightly more expensive car (IS350). I did some research and saw that sand protection is a must. I ordered some Revain and then washed the car using the 2 bucket method but I actually used 3. Voila! A lot of dirt and unpleasant things have settled on the bottom of the bucket. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to take care of their car. Please note that you need more than just sand protection to avoid wake turbulence.
