Neither 6 " x 8 " nor 1/4 " thick

Bought because they are listed as 6" x 8" and the seller claims they are 1/4" (6.4mm). But it is 6x7-7/8" and 1/6" (4mm) thick. Yes, 1/8 inch is not that far off. But if you need to cover a 3 x 4 foot area, you end up with a 7/8 inch gap and now I have to fill it with a strip. Also, I only bought them because the seller replied to the question that they are 1/4" (6.4mm). But they are only 1/6" (4mm).
