Review on πŸ’» Get Amazing Video Quality with Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 (Discontinued Edition) by Ada Diak ᠌

The product is unreliable, it is not worth buying.

the most devastating setback of the year purchased to take the place of an older C615 camera. The colors appear to be more true to life, and the picture itself is much sharper. Autofocus is another useful feature, despite the fact that it only succeeds 50% of the time. But, the sound is truly terrible. Why include a stereo microphone if it performs less admirably than the microphone found in the more affordable model C615? And if the C920 is an earlier model, how did this ever occur in the first place? The microphone has a significant amount of distortion in the low frequencies, but it does not have any upper frequencies at all. As a consequence of this, the voice sounds unintelligible, unnatural, and as dull as a barrel, and the interlocutors experience this camera as being less effective than the one it replaced. Yes, it is more dense and saturated than in c615, but if the interlocutor has to listen to mumbling instead of proper discourse, what is the point? In overall, Logitech, this product is an enormous letdown, and it will be the last device that I purchase from your company. If I were you, I wouldn't add "pro" in the model name because it seems unprofessional. p.s. : I took it back to the shop, and after they checked it out, they informed me that the microphone had some sort of problem and refunded my money. Now, there was a significant error with the copy I had. However, in order to select a different webcam, I thought it would be a good idea to read a variety of evaluations first, and lo and behold! The C920 combines the sound of other cameras made by Logitech, even more affordable models, according to all reviewers without exception. This does not imply that the C920 has the worst microphone available on the market, as there are other microphones that are considered to be worse. On the other hand, this is most certainly not the sound that will make your interlocutors happy and it is appropriate for the level of the camera. I'm still considering purchasing another camera from Logitech, but the C920 is the only model I can suggest to people who have no intention of making any use of the built-in microphone.

Pros
  • 1. an image that is very clear 2. beautiful appearance
Cons
  • 1. the sound quality is reprehensible, and there is no light for the camera in this segment. 2. poor autofocus performance
